  i have been d.f'd since '72 when my over-acheiving brother spearheaded the action because i had visited with my d.f'd mom and my catholic wife had a christmas tree!

  so it has been a while since i have given serious thot to this crap.

  but my eyes were opened this last 4th of july at lake tahoe when about 50 of us at a camp site sat and related all the personal adventures of trying to extricate oneself from this insidious cult!

  so... i am gaining more experience reverse-witnessing, and i had the greatest of ideas!!

  i don't have to say anything against the watchtower, there's sufficient flip-flops in the wt to make one cringe!!

  so what i did was, opened a fb, went to a jw forum, added as many jw's as i could, and opened up a fb page that just posts quotes from the very first watchtowers.

  the archdiocese of dubuque which recently completed structured settlement agreements with several persons who reported that they were sexually abused as minors by priests of the archdiocese; has committed itself to several activities, to raise awareness of the effects of sexual abuse of minors and to invite victims to come forward and seek help.

  1. the archdiocese will continue to publish periodic notices in the archdiocesan newspaper, the witness, and in several secular papers inviting persons who as minors were sexually abused by church personnel to come forward and encouraging them to contact law enforcement personnel.. throughout the archdiocese there are about 3,000 icons (sacred depictions) of st. raphael the archangel with information on how to reach the archdiocesan victim assistance coordinators.

  no, he was speaking to the jews, god's covenant people.

  I see three camps:

  1. Atheist believe in nothing. - This is all there is.

  2. Jews want us to believe that this is all there is so take all you can in the physical life.

  3. Greeks want us to believe that this is all about the spirit so lets party.

  I'm too old and have seen too much to believe in nothing.I'm too old and non concerned about the physical aspects and glory that my body has to offer me. It's just a carcass that contains my spirit, pretty much.

  We never get to peak behind the curtain until the day we die. Then we find out who is right. I guess that's the mystery; for me anyway.
